I’m blessed to know two elderly who have lived up to 92 year-old. First is our Malaysia’s seventh prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. And second person is whom we celebrated her 92nd birthday in September, Madam Lim Poh.

Kenneth, the grandson of Madam Lim Poh is also a wedding and event planner based in Klang Valley and Melaka. I had wonderful experience working together with him on some wedding assignments. The baton was passed to him, to help to plan and organize the celebration at the DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka, and I was honered and invited to photograph his family’s event.

The dinner was rather kept minimal for family and close friends. Guests at the dinner enjoyed themselves and most importantly Mdm. Lim Poh was so happy to see her siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were there to gather and shared her joy, together with her old friends.

Happy birthday to Mdm. Lim Poh! Stay blessed, may the peace and happiness be with you forever.
