17 Apr In the Mood for Love – Eddy & Lin
Eddy & Lin shared many of their love stories with us, including how they studied in same kindergarten and primary school, then lost touch, and eventually bumped to each other again at the Ikea Store in Melbourne. That was how their journey together began.
Both have the love and appreciation for the 60s. When Lin told us that she had a tailor-made Cheong-Sam in light gold for her upcoming shoot with us, Peninsular Tailor Cafe By JWC came into our mind. We were looking for something nostalgic to make up an old Shanghai themed portrait for the two.
The cafe was hidden in the side alley of the busy business streets of Melaka Raya. As its name suggested, it was an old tailor-shop themed cafe and its interior was set to take visitors down memory lane. It had rather a short history. After about 2-year of operation, yesterday marked the last day of its business.
The cafe brought us some wonderful memories with Eddy & Lin of our shooting there. We enjoyed the morning session at the venue, shooting while listening to their journey.
Although the two looked cool in some of the photos, it was a session full of laughter and we really love how the photos turned out. The venue, simply made out the perfect blend for Eddy & Lin.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us again and congratulation on your marriage. Hope you have a beautiful life together and an endless of love story!
