20 Nov Inspired by Mark & Carmen
I often feel lucky to meet wonderful couples. Mark & Carmen made no exception.
The gentleman from KL and lady from Sabah, found me when they opted for the portrait’s venue last year. They knew straight it had to be in Melaka. It’s just meant to be here.
We chatted over the internet, planned for their engagement portrait for their up coming wedding in December this year.
Mark & Carmen wanted something simple and natural. They love photographs that truly reflect themselves and their relationship.
Of all arrangement, the only request from them was to have their R2-D2 in frame. Mark a Star Wars fan, made a 1:1 scale robot from the film.
Very surprise I was, when I saw the robot they brought all the way from KL to Melaka in their car. It was big and real, looked exactly like what was on the film. I was imagining R2-D2 wandering at the desert planet of Tatooine.
We kicked off the session with the R2-D2 at the entrance of Klebang desert. We wouldn’t want to carry the heavy robot to the sand dunes. It took at least a 30 mins to the sand dunes by foot.
We chatted over a relaxed walk to the sand dunes, sweating but nice breezing balanced things up. Believe it, we had one of the most amazing sunset at the sand dunes.
As Mark & Carmen were warming up for the session, everything else was cooling down. The sun went beyond the horizon as the two were overflowing with love. Nothing but calm, soothing vibes with minimal light reflected from the sky as we continued. It was everything about the two.
They pretty much did the magic themselves. Then this happened.
