23 Sep Inspired by Tom & Li Yee
It’s a privilege to photograph any couple who have found each other. It is to Tom & Li Yee.
When I just got back from my travel to India, Tom & Li Yee contacted me to have their bridal portrait. Since then, we’ve been keeping in touch and planned together for their portrait to be done in May this year.
Tom met Li Yee in Singapore and fell in love with the lovely lady from Melaka. These two are easy-going and fun-loving couple. They wished for a walkabout portrait, less formal however more of a fun and relaxed way. Melaka the little town filled with characters, and home to Li Yee has become their first choice.
We went to some interesting places in Melaka, less common to tourists or less crowded with people; locations where Tom & Li Yee could be comfortable with and different from places they couldn’t find in Singapore such as the sand dunes of Klebang.
This was the first morning session I had at the sand dunes of Klebang (instead of having it in the evening). It turned out to be beautiful; The weather was completely fine, a little warm with blue sky and some clouds. And it promised a beautiful sunset.
After witnessing the magic spending a day with these two incredibly happy people, I knew it would end up with gorgeous photographs. Well, when they get to look back at the photographs, they get to remember the words whispered, the laughter they had, and the hugs they gave each other on the very day their spent in Melaka together.
Thank you Tom & Li Yee, and congratulation to your wedding yesterday. Hope to catch with you again in Melaka or Singapore.
